A day out in LA

Last week my lovely friend Rachael from http://www.rachaelarlene.com and I went out to dinner to Jon & Vinny’s for pizza, pasta and ice cream and then explored and took pictures along melrose. I have my outfit linked on my instagram!

So happy to have a blogger friend like Rachael!

a little about me…

a little about me…

Born in Britain and raised in California, I have spent my whole surrounded by beautiful people and beautiful places and yet have struggled to feel beautiful myself. My whole life I have always felt somewhat ashamed of being drawn to material things such as fashion and beauty however now I feel as though I have reached a point in my life where I no longer care. I enjoy wearing clothes that make me feel good and spending a little extra time in the morning enhancing my eyes. And I know I am not alone in this. As a result I created this blog not only as an outlet to pour my own thoughts, wishes, and desires but also as a place for you to come to for some inspiration on how to look and feel your best. I hope to connect with you on a deeper level and create meaningful relationships. I want to know what’s inspiring you, what advice you have, what products you are loving so please do comment or connect with me via instagram.

I promise to always try my best to inspire you, connect with you, and show you where the light is

Lots of love,

p.s. I am obsessed with my dog!

Saturday morning coffee runs

As much as I love fashion, beauty and my dog, I also have a deep love affair with coffee! (Especially iced, with almond milk *salivating*) I paired together this look:

Navy tie sleeve top – So flattering, I love the cut on the chest and the way it cinches in the waist. Only bought it last week and have worn it 3 times already!

Loose Gold pants (exact pair is no longer in stock so I linked some similar ones!) I love the way Gold/Yellow sits against tan skin. So summery!

Clunky Heels – so comfy! They add just enough height whilst not being over the top for day time.

Cross body bag– leaves both hands free for coffee and snack!

What’s your favourite coffee drink?

Alexandra xoxo

A little hello…

Screen Shot 2017-07-13 at 12.08.26 PM

Hello! Welcome to my little online world. Not going to lie, this first post is a little intimidating and let’s be honest, I am a bit slow when it comes to technology so please bare with me! I thought I would start with a little introduction to what I hope this blog will bring and as well as little interview style questionnaire! I first hope to bring some inspiration to you as I look for inspiration everywhere in everything, whether it be in clothes, makeup, food or even on attitude. My life is far from perfect and I do struggle daily with anxieties and insecruties yet, especially over the last year, it is something I have learned to not only live with but to benefit from. From this, I hope to pass on some tips and tactics that have helped me! If you want to know a little more about me feel free to read here! Now onto the questionnaire:

  1. What is your number one obsession?I thought I would give that away with the picture assigned to this post- my little boy! My dog, Archie, is so much more than a dog to me and I love him more than life itself!
  2. Night out clubbing or sit down meal with friends?- Sit down meal everytime!
  3. Degree?English Literature (2:1 wooooo!)
  4. Favourite place you have ever visited?– This is a hard one as I have been fortunate to have been to many beautiful countries and cities. I will always have a special place in my heart for Paris, but visiting the Amalfi Coast was definitely up there!
  5. Where do you want to travel next? -There isn’t really one answer to this question, however I really want to do a winter holiday somewhere and one of the greecian islands! Oh and Nashville definitely!

I hope that gives you a little introduction to myself! I am aim to post three times a week so be on the lookout!

Lots of Love,

Alexandra xx
